Setting up your HallBoard Player

Plug it in

Put the HDMI cable from the box into your TV or monitor. Plug the power supply into the box and the wall.

Switch the TV to the matching HDMI input (the remote's Input or Source button).

Wait a minute

The screen says HallBoard and Connecting…. If your hall has a network cable plugged into the box, your board appears in under a minute and you are done.

Give it the hall's wifi

If after about a minute the screen says to join HallBoard-setup, take your phone:

Open the phone's wifi settings and join HallBoard-setup (or a name starting comitup).
A page opens by itself. If not, open your phone's browser and go to 10.41.0.1.
Choose the hall's wifi and type its password.

Your board appears in a minute or so. The Player remembers the wifi from then on.

If something doesn't look right

Black screen: check the TV is on the right HDMI input and the power is plugged in.
Stuck on Connecting: check the hall's internet is working (try a phone on the same wifi).
After a power cut: it starts again by itself. If the TV stays off, turn it on at the remote.
Changed the router or wifi password: unplug the Player for 10 seconds and plug it back in, then repeat step 3.
